Dr. Rajshree Parthiv Trivedi (born 22 March 1966) is an Indian Writer, Biographer, Storyteller, Poet, Translator, and Academician, known for her contributions to English and Gujarati literature. She currently serves as the Principal and Head of the Department of English at Maniben Nanavati Women’s College in Mumbai.

She is the founder of TEXT CURATORS, a leading content developer company with clients world over. TEXT CURATORS offers world class services in developing contents for various fields such as technical, biographical, literary, translations, transcreations and others.

About Me

Early Life and Education

Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Dr. Trivedi completed her higher education at St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad. Her passion for literature—both English and Gujarati—shaped her academic and literary journey.

Career

Dr. Trivedi’s literary career spans poetry, fiction, and translation. Her works have been published in respected platforms such as Muse IndiaIndian LiteratureYapan ChitraVahiThe Speaking Tree, and Bhasha Bandhan Review, among others. Digital platforms like Wordweaver India and MatruBharti.com have also featured her short stories.

In 2023, she published The Blouse-Wearer and Other Stories, a collection of nine short stories exploring identity, womanhood, and societal expectations. She has translated two books by noted Gujarati author Dinkar Joshi into English, including Sardar: The Sovereign Saint. Her editorial work includes Contemporary Adivasi Writings in India: Shifting Paradigms, which highlights indigenous narratives.

Outside of literature, she is a trained vocalist in semi-classical Hindustani music. She led Paglan Padone Adishwari, a cultural archiving project focused on preserving traditional garbas sung by the Nagar women’s community during the Navratri festival.
